The strategy builder provides an intuitive filter and search box that helps you choose one of the hundreds indicators available. Choose the ones you prefer and easily drag and drop them to start building the strategy. Choose different setup for each indicator and different time intervals to configure your conditions. Can I build a strategy with multiple rules? How?

Yes, you can. Indicators and operators form together expressions that trigger your Buy and Sell conditions. Each expression can have one or multiple rules. If you want to build a strategy that places an ENTRY/EXIT order based on multiple rules, you just have to build two rules and couple them using the OR operator (e.g.: rule 1 OR rule 2). When one of the rules will evaluate to true, an Order will be placed.

Can I apply safeties no matter what rules I am using?

Yes, they can be applied to any strategy and they should, if you want to manage risk properly. You can read more about safeties here: How to use Stop-Loss and Take-Profit

How can I test my strategy to see if it’s good or not?

Once you have your conditions in place for your strategy, you can start Backtesting. You just have to choose the testing period and asset and we’ll show you how your strategy would have performed.

Can I see the results of the backtesting on a chart?

Yes. Entry and Exit orders are visible on the timeline, displayed in relation to the evolution of the price. Moreover, you can simply add indicators used in the strategy on the chart. Everything is based on your favorite TradingView charting library.

What indicators are available in the strategy builder?

We have close to 100 technical indicators – from the ones used very often like MACD, EMA, RSI, Bollinger Bands, On Balance Volume; to some more complicated ones like: Kaufman adaptive moving average, Three White Soldiers, Chaiking Money Flow. However, if you’re looking for an indicator that we’re not supporting yet, drop us a line and we’ll do our best to add it.
